Quick Questions with Emilia and Time!

In this series of quick questions, we want you to QUICKLY (see what I did there? (o: Okay, never mind . . . . ) get to know our cast for the Shake-in-a-Day Series. This fantastically fun set of individuals will be joining us January 14th, 2017 at the Westbeth Community Arts Room (55 Bethune Street in NYC) for a one-night only Shakespeare event. Don't miss it!

For our first entry in this blog series, we want to re-introduce you to Rachel Matusewicz! Rachel will be taking on the lovely "dear Gentlewoman" Emilia and Time. Yes, Time. Time makes an appearance in this play and helps us move forward 16 years in time! WHOA! HSC regulars might recognize Rachel from this past summer when she took on numerous leading lady roles in the summer of history plays. In July Rachel played the Countess of Salisbury who falls into a dangerous love affair with the lusty and arrogant Edward III. In August Rachel played a bazillion roles in Henry IV. (Seriously, she played Lady Percy, Mistress Quickly, Douglas, and Glendower) We're excited to have the wonderful Rachel back and joining us for this fantastical telling of The Winter's Tale. (January 14th @ 8pm).

Q: What's your favorite activity to do in the Winter?

RACHEL: My favorite activity in winter is being completely snowed in, and you have no option but to stay on your couch and binge a TV show. With wine, because where are you even gonna go?

Q: What's something unique about you?

RACHEL: I play the cello!

Q: What animal would you want your exit to be pursued by in your own Winter's Tale?

RACHEL: Definitely a corgi.

Check out the many faces of Rachel!
